Leadgai: Lead with Authenticity, Serve with Courage
Leadgai is a concept from our new framework based on for our Leadership Fulfillment model. It blends the ideas of leadership and Ikigai, a Japanese term meaning “reason for being” or the intersection of what you love, what you’re good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for.
In our context, Leadgai represents:
- Leadership that is deeply aligned with your purpose and your values.
- Leading in a way that brings fulfilment through the authentic expression of who you are, why you lead, how you serve, and the courage you display.
- The sweet spot where leadership becomes more than just a role—it’s a fulfilling journey that blends authenticity, service, purpose, and impact.
Much like Ikigai helps people discover their life purpose, Leadgai helps leaders manifest and fulfill their dream leadership style, aligning their actions with a deeper sense of meaning and service.
This framework beautifully integrates key aspects of leadership. It touches on authenticity, purpose, service, and courage, and brings them together in a holistic way that can be deeply fulfilling. Here’s a breakdown of how these elements come together, reflecting our emphasis on leadership:
1. Who Am I? (Authenticity)
This quadrant focuses on self-awareness and genuineness. It asks leaders to reflect on their core values and strengths. By knowing who they truly are, leaders can lead from a place of alignment with their personal identity.
- Reflection Questions:What are the values that guide my decisions? How do I express my unique qualities in my leadership? How can I stay true to my authentic self in leadership roles?
2. Why Do I Want to Lead? (Purpose & Alignment)
Here, you delve into the motivations behind your leadership. It’s about connecting leadership to a broader life purpose, ensuring that what you do resonates with what matters most to you.
- Reflection Questions:What purpose do I feel called to fulfill as a leader? How does my leadership reflect my personal and professional goals? What difference do I want to make in the lives of those I lead?
3. What Does the World Need? (Service & Impact)
Leadership here is seen through the lens of service. Understanding how your leadership can meet the needs of your team, organization, or community gives your leadership a sense of larger significance and contribution.
- Reflection Questions:How am I addressing the needs of others through my leadership? What is the lasting impact I want to have in the world? How can I serve others in a meaningful way as a leader?
4. Courage to Lead (Action & Resilience)
This quadrant focuses on taking action despite challenges, demonstrating resilience, and having the courage to face uncertainty. Leaders need the ability to take bold steps, even in the face of adversity, while maintaining confidence.
- Reflection Questions:What courageous actions can I take that align with my purpose and values? How can I maintain resilience during difficult times? What risks am I willing to take in order to grow as a leader?
Central Overlap: Leadership Fulfillment
At the heart of this framework is Leadership Fulfillment, the intersection where authenticity, purpose, service, and courage meet. When a leader is aligned in all these areas, they experience fulfilment in their role, making their leadership more impactful and sustainable.

6. Visual Leadership Map
We will help leaders create a visual representation of our framework to help them visually map out their leadership journey:
- Who Am I? (Authenticity): Visualise strengths and core values at the base.
- Why Do I Want to Lead? (Purpose): Map purpose and passions as guiding stars.
- What Does the World Need? (Service): Identify community/team needs and where their leadership creates value.
- Courage to Lead: Highlight bold actions and resilience strategies as key milestones.
- Outcome: A visually guided tool to help leaders track their leadership fulfilment journey.
7. “Let Them” Integration for Resilience
Draw on our “LET THEM” mindset to enhance resilience in the Courage to Lead quadrant:
- Courage in Adversity: We teach leaders how to not take things personally and embrace the mindset of letting others be who they are, while focusing on leading with authenticity.
- Leadership Exercises: We deliver exercises where leaders practice “letting go” of things they can’t control while still acting with courage.
- Outcome: Leaders become more resilient, focusing on what they can control (their actions and mindset), leading with calm confidence.
By incorporating these ideas, you can help leaders experience the power of leading authentically, with purpose, service, and courage. Each idea aligns with your core beliefs of manifesting leadership while staying true to oneself.
